Get to know me

I love helping others. I started to do this when I was 12 years old by giving advice to my friends. More than a decade later I was advising clients at one of the top consulting firms in the world and since then I have continued to provide my advice and insight to others.

 My First Book!

What I have been up to

Recently I completed a two and half year journey to write my first book, a book about career advice. As a Black female professional this book discusses many of the things I had to learn to navigate a business environment where you often don’t see people that look like you.

This book focuses on soft skills like networking, confidence and resilience that have an outsized impact on your career yet those are the areas where I often felt most unprepared.

Why diverse voices matter

Now is the time to elevate the stories and experiences of people of colour and women in the workplace. People within these communities long to hear voices that sound like their own.

People outside of these communities are also demanding more diverse perspectives. More importantly, women and people of colour need more resources that cater to them.

How my book will help you

When thinking about what to write about I strived to answer the questions people most commonly ask me when they come to me for career advice.

I also thought about all of the questions I have tried to answer for myself as I pursued career success. These are some of the questions you can answer by reading my book.

Publisher inquiries

I am looking for a publisher for my book that is interested in giving a platform to diverse voices. If you would like to speak to me about this, please contact me at: tricia@indigo9digital.com
